Unprecedented Times

We live in a time of unprecedented fear. We are being told to shelter in place while the government attempts to solve one of society’s many issues, a virus that is highly contagious and spreads before any signs of infection appears. This is our fear. This is our game changer for the year 2020. It is often said that fear will cripple your mind, or in this case, our country, if you let it. Are you going to let it cripple your relationships as well?
We are not here to discuss the troubles of a global virus or the burden of being told to hide from an unseen foe. We are here to discuss using this unprecedented opportunity to review and mend our society. The world around us is buried in fear. While we await the government’s solution to this issue, I encourage you to tackle one of the harder issues, one the government certainly cannot resolve.
Before 2020, our relationships crumbled. Life weighed heavily on two-income families as time together as a family unit was rare. The constant running to and fro left little time or energy for each other. Now, for the most part, we find ourselves being mandated to stay home. We no longer have bars to drown our sorrows at, movie theaters to distract us, or after school activities to parent for us. Once again, we stand at a divided road.
Which path will you take? Will you wallow in your internal desires and conflicts, or will you engage your family and begin to rebuild the neglected walls of your family unit. Will you listen, actively listen, to your children and partners? Discuss God, love, sex, and politics in a calm manner? Build routines to strengthen your relationship with your significant other?
The lost arts of victory gardens, making your own clothing, repairing your own vehicles, preserving family time, building traditions and rituals with your family have suddenly come back into the realm of possibilities. Join us as we calm the fears that are spreading and encourage the adaptation of traditionalism, self-sufficiency, and loving authority principles into our modern relationships.
This is the time to discover that which has been lost to us as we modernized the world around us. As you are sheltering in place, explore the exchange of power and authority within your relationships. See what happens when you let love win, when you seek a Loving Authority Relationship.
